RAMÓN TRIGO PRESENTA “LABIRINTO” NA LIBRARÍA WELLS DE CANGAS
«Labirinto» é o novo libro do artista vigués Ramón Trigo, que traza unha viaxe simbólica ao corazón de África para descubrir as súas paisaxes, cores, sabores e segredos. O autor presenta esta obra o mércores 7 de agosto a partir das 20:00 horas na libraría Wells de Cangas. Alí estará acompañado polo escritor e especialista en LIX Xosé Manuel González Oli, autor de «O pirata pata de lata», un álbum que conta tamén coas súas ilustracións.
«Labirinto» é a historia dun pintor que, canso de empregar unicamente o negro e o gris, emprende unha viaxe cara a un territorio descoñecido, disposto a descifrar os seus segredos. Alí descubrirá un mundo repleto de novos aromas, texturas e tonalidades pero non será ata o seu regreso cando se decate de que esa experiencia tamén fai que algo cambie no seu interior.
A partir da estancia do autor no continente africano xorde esta reflexión que, dende o punto de vista artístico, destaca polas imaxes impactantes, expresivas e cun forte compoñente simbólico.
De formación autodidacta, Ramón Trigo comezou a súa traxectoria artística como ilustrador e debuxante de cómic. As súas primeiras obras pictóricas datan da década de 1980; dende entón, ilustra libros para varias editoriais e realiza exposicións, ademais da súa outra faceta como escultor. Entre as distincións que recibiu figuran o Premio Arte Xoven Galego, os premios de álbum ilustrado infantil Ciudad de Alicante e Cabildo de Gran Canaria, o Premio Lazarillo e o Premio Isaac Díaz Pardo.
