LIMAM BOISHA PRESENTA "YA CALLÓ LA LLUVIA" EN VILLAVICIOSA DE ODÓN
El poeta saharaui Limam Boisha hace un homenaje y una reivindicación de las raíces, la memoria y la cultura de su pueblo en el libro «Ya calló la lluvia», que se presenta el viernes 24 de noviembre a partir de las 20:00 horas en la librería Los Libros Salvajes (calle Eras, 39) de Villaviciosa de Odón. Le acompaña el periodista y librero Félix Domínguez, que conversará con el autor sobre este poemario publicado en la colección Ut pictura poesis de KALANDRAKA e ilustrado por el pintor y realizador -también saharaui- Moulud Yeslem.
El autor vuelca en esta obra su testimonio íntimo en torno a los recuerdos de su hogar en el Sahara, su posterior exilio, la historia del pueblo saharaui y la esperanza de regresar algún día a su tierra natal. Boisha evoca ese caudal de recuerdos, el bagaje de creencias, costumbres y ritos de sus antepasados y todo cuanto los guardianes de la frontera no pueden confiscar ni aprehender. El resultado es un poemario de enorme belleza que se complementa con unas ilustraciones que capturan la luz, el color y la aridez del desierto.
Licenciado en Periodismo por la Universidad de Oriente, en Cuba, y afincado actualmente en Madrid, Limam Boisha es autor del poemario «Los versos de la madera» y ha participado en varias antologías de poesía saharaui, como «Añoranza», «Um Draiga» y «Aaiún, gritando lo que se siente». Forma parte del grupo poético Generación de la Amistad Saharaui y es miembro de la Asociación de Escritores por el Sahara-Bubisher.
